We were asked by a private developer to renovate a bungalow with apex bedrooms in the Coleshill area of the West Midlands, after successfully delivering another project for them. The existing upper floor was so poorly converted that the roof was starting to bow. We supported the upper floor and roof purlins, added walls to divide the upper rooms and add a bathroom upstairs. We moved the staircase to create a more open plan feel and downstairs removed structural walls to create an open plan kitchen. The garage was insulated and boarded converting it to a granny flat with bathroom and a utility area added. On completion the property had been converted from a 2-bedroom to a 5-bedroom dwelling with 3 bathrooms.
